1) Scope
This policy applies to complete solar bundles and individual components sold on BestSolarBundle.com, including modules, inverters, batteries, racking, and balance-of-system items. Returns and warranty are handled separately. Warranty coverage is limited to the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable.
2) Warranty Term and Coverage
Coverage varies by product category from 1 to 25 years. Refer to the product page or the manufacturer’s warranty card. If there is a difference between our listing and the manufacturer’s published terms, we honor the clearer or longer term. The warranty start date is the original purchase date as shown on your order or invoice. Remedies generally include repair or replacement at our or the manufacturer’s discretion. Any replacement inherits the remaining term of the original item.
3) Exclusions
This warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, improper or unauthorized installation or wiring, operation beyond rated specifications, unauthorized repair or firmware alteration, tampering with serial numbers or seals, cosmetic damage not affecting function, water ingress due to misuse, or damage from improper transport or packaging.
4) Return Window and RMA
Return requests are accepted within 14 days of delivery under our Return Policy. An RMA is required before shipping any item back; unauthorized returns may be refused or incur handling fees. RMA validity requires that the goods be shipped back within 14 days of RMA issuance. Returnable condition means uninstalled, unused, and in resalable condition with original packaging and all accessories and manuals. Inverters and batteries must not have been energized. Cables and racking must not be cut or drilled.
5) Shipping Responsibility
If the issue is our fault, including carrier damage verified at delivery, manufacturer defect on arrival, not as advertised, wrong item, shortage, or extra item, we cover return shipping and reshipment as applicable. For buyer’s remorse or incorrect orders, the buyer pays round-trip shipping. Free-shipping scope follows our Freight Shipping Policy: base curbside LTL freight is free within the contiguous 48 states; accessorial services and limited-access locations may incur additional charges.
6) Restocking Fees
If unopened and in new condition, restocking is typically waived; if opened but unused, a restocking or reconditioning deduction of up to 15 percent may apply. Additional deductions may apply for missing or damaged items. No restocking applies to DOA or our-error returns.
7) No Fault Found
If testing confirms no defect or the return conditions are not met, you may choose either to have the original item returned to you at your cost, or to receive a refund reduced by inspection or refurbishment costs and round-trip freight as applicable.
8) Bundles and Partial Returns
Returning part of a bundle reverses bundle discounts. The refund is recalculated at standalone prices for the items kept. Even-value exchanges may allow restocking to be waived on a case-by-case basis; freight charges and price differences may apply.
9) Freight and Pallet Deliveries
Inspection at delivery is required for palletized LTL shipments. Note visible damage or shortages on the delivery receipt and take photos while the driver is present. Concealed damage must be reported to us within 72 hours with unboxing and outer-carton photos or videos. See the Freight Shipping Policy for detailed requirements and claim timelines.
10) Battery and Dangerous Goods Returns
For safety and compliance, lithium-ion and LiFePO4 batteries may only be returned if unopened and unactivated unless defective on arrival and explicitly authorized by our support team. Do not ship batteries without written RMA and carrier instructions from us. Batteries should be discharged to approximately 30 percent state of charge or less, terminals protected, and packaged per UN3480 or UN3481 as applicable. Non-compliant shipments are at the sender’s risk and cost.
11) DOA, Defective, and Warranty Flow
Within 14 days of delivery, we provide a free replacement or a return-for-refund with a prepaid label for items confirmed defective on arrival. After 14 days, service proceeds under the applicable manufacturer or product warranty and may involve inspection, repair, or replacement according to those terms. An RMA is required in all cases.
12) Used or Refurbished Products
If we sell an item as used or refurbished, the warranty term is 1 year from delivery. Within 14 days, natural faults are covered with round-trip freight and repair or replacement. From day 15 through day 365, repair is covered and the buyer covers freight. Purchases made through unauthorized channels are not eligible for our after-sales support.
13) Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if unshipped. If already shipped, cancellation is handled as a return under the Return Policy and associated freight and fees may apply.
14) Refund Method and Timing
We inspect returned items within 1 to 2 business days of receipt and email the decision. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 7 to 10 business days after inspection, subject to your bank’s processing time. This timing aligns with our Refund Policy.
15) RMA Steps
Email support@bestsolarbundle.com with your order number, delivery date, SKU and quantity, a description of the issue, and photos or videos as applicable. We will reply with an RMA number and the return address. Ship within 14 days of RMA issuance and provide tracking details. We will confirm within 1 to 2 business days after receipt whether the return is approved or denied, including reasons and a refund or charges breakdown.
16) Liability and Updates
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages including labor, outages, installation or service costs, or lost profits. This policy may be updated without notice; the version shown at checkout applies. Approved RMAs will be honored under the terms issued at the time of RMA. This Warranty Policy works together with and is supplemented by our Return Policy, Refund Policy, and Freight Shipping Policy.
