Refund Policy

We hope you have enjoyed your online shopping experience with BestSolarBundle. Please read below for more information about our refund policy.

1) Scope

Applies to complete solar bundles and components (modules, inverters, batteries, racking, BOS). Returns are handled separately from warranty.

2) Return Window & RMA

· Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery.

· 14-Day DOA Guarantee: If the product arrives damaged or nonfunctional within 14 days, we will replace or fully refund at no cost.

· RMA is required before shipping back any item.

· RMA must be acted upon (shipped back) within 30 days of issuance.

3) Returnable Condition

· Items must be uninstalled, unused, and resalable, and include original packaging, manuals, and all accessories.

· Items installed, powered on, or modified/customized are non-returnable (except DOA/defects).

4) Non-Returnable Examples

· Custom/special orders, clearance items

· Items with tampered serial numbers, seals, or firmware modifications

· Cables or racks that have been cut, drilled, or altered

· Products missing packaging, accessories, or manuals

5) Shipping Cost

  • · For returns due to our error (wrong item, short shipment, DOA, defect, misadvertised) → we will cover return and reship shipping costs.

    · For returns due to buyer’s decision (wrong choice, changed mind, etc.) → buyer is responsible for return shipping.

    · For palletized freight, free-shipping scopes follow our Freight Shipping Policy; surcharges may apply.

6) Handling & Processing Fees

· For buyer-initiated returns, refunds may be subject to a handling fee up to 15% to cover payment processing, inspection, and restocking costs.

· DOA / defective returns are exempt from handling fees.

7) Bundles & Partial Returns

· Returning part of a bundle reverses bundle discounts; refund will be recalculated at standalone prices.

· Even-value exchanges may waive handling fees (case-by-case); freight/price differences may apply.

8) Freight Delivery (Pallets)

· Inspect items before signing delivery; note any damage or shortage on BOL/POD and take photos.

· Report concealed damage/shortage within 72 hours with photo/video; carriers may deny claims otherwise.

9) Battery (Dangerous Goods) Returns

· Batteries must be discharged to ≤ 30% state of charge (SOC) and must be packaged per UN3480 / UN3481 regulations.

· Use our DG Return Guide; non-compliant shipments are at sender’s risk (may be refused or destroyed).

10) DOA/Defective & Warranty

· Within 14 days: free replacement or return-for-refund via a prepaid label.

· After 30 days: defects handled under our warranty policy (repair, replacement, or limited refund as per warranty terms).

11) Refund Calculation & Timing

· Upon receiving and validating returned items, we will refund the purchase price minus any applicable handling fees, buyer-return shipping cost, and bundle discount reversals.

· Refund timing: 3–5 business days for credit cards / 7–10 business days for debit cards (bank processing times may vary).

12) Order Cancellation

· Orders cancelled within 72 hours before shipment get a full refund.

· If an order has shipped, refunds follow this policy (with freight & handling deducted as applicable).

13) Refused / Undeliverable Shipments

· Refund will exclude round-trip freight and applicable handling fees.

· If you request reshipment, new shipping must be prepaid.

14) No Fault Found

· If returned items are found to have no defects and fail to meet return conditions, we will either:

a) Return the items at buyer’s expense, or

b) Deduct inspection/refurbishment and round-trip freight from the refund.

15) RMA Steps

· Email sales@bestsolarbundle.com with your order number, delivery date, SKU & quantity, issue description, photos/videos.

· Ship return within 30 days of RMA issuance and share tracking.

· We typically inspect returns within 1–2 business days of receipt and email the result.

16) Liability & Updates

· We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (installation cost, lost labor, downtime, etc.).

· This policy may be updated at any time without notice; the version displayed at checkout applies (approved RMAs will still be honored).
