Return Policy
BestSolarBundle.com is owned and operated by Smart Home Gadgets Inc. In this policy, “BestSolarBundle”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Smart Home Gadgets Inc.
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from BestSolarBundle. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery for inspection and refund processing. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required before sending any product back.
1) Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, the product must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, mounting hardware, and included cables. Products that show signs of use, installation, modification, or customer-caused damage may be rejected or approved with deductions. Requests must be made within 14 days from the date of delivery. For bundled kits, the bundle must be returned complete; partial returns of individual components from a bundle are not accepted unless expressly approved in writing in advance.
2) Safety and Hazardous Materials
For safety and compliance reasons, lithium battery modules and packs can only be returned if unopened and unactivated, unless they are defective on arrival and explicitly authorized by our support team. Never ship batteries without written RMA and carrier instructions from us. Batteries must be shipped at a safe state of charge, typically 30 percent or less, and with terminals protected. Unauthorized battery shipments may be refused for safety reasons.
3) How to Request a Return
Contact support@bestsolarbundle.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, the reason for the return, and clear photos if the product is damaged or defective. If approved, you will receive an RMA number and packing and carrier instructions. The RMA is valid for 14 days from the date of issue; please ship within this window and include the RMA number both inside the carton and on the shipping label.
4) Receiving, Inspection at Delivery, and Damage Claims
Please inspect shipments at delivery. Note any visible damage or shortage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing. If severe damage is present, you may refuse the shipment and notify us immediately. Visible damage or shortages must be reported to us within 3 business days of delivery with photos of the product and packaging. Concealed damage should be reported as soon as discovered and within 7 business days while all packaging is retained for the carrier investigation.
5) Packing and Shipping Your Return
Use the original inner packaging and outer carton whenever possible. Heavy or fragile items should be double-boxed with sufficient internal padding. Freight-class items must be palletized and strapped securely; we can help arrange a carrier at your cost if needed. You are responsible for risk of loss until the shipment is delivered and signed for at our return dock. Insured, trackable shipping is strongly recommended. Returns sent postage due or cash-on-delivery are not accepted.
6) Return Shipping Costs and Free-Shipping Adjustments
If the product is defective on arrival, damaged in transit, or we shipped the wrong item, BestSolarBundle will provide or reimburse reasonable return shipping after verification. In all other cases, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. If your original order shipped under a free-shipping promotion and you are returning for reasons not caused by our error, our actual outbound shipping cost may be deducted from the refund.
7) Inspection, Restocking, and Timing
All returns are inspected upon arrival. If the item is new, unopened, and in resalable condition, restocking fees are typically waived. If packaging, accessories, or documentation are missing, or if reconditioning is required, a reasonable restocking or reconditioning deduction of up to 15 percent may apply. Once inspection is complete and the return is approved, we will process the refund according to our Refund Policy. Most approved refunds are initiated within 7 to 10 business days after inspection.
8) Exchanges
If you would prefer an exchange for a different model or configuration, please state this when requesting your RMA. Price differences and shipping charges will be settled at the time of processing.
9) Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
Orders refused at delivery or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be treated as discretionary returns. Actual outbound shipping and any carrier return fees may be deducted from the refund.
10) Non-Returnable Items
Customized or special-order items, opened battery packs, installed or activated products, items not in original condition or missing components, cut cable or wire by the foot, clearance or open-box items marked final sale, and any goods returned without an RMA are not eligible for return.
