Freight Shipping Policy

Scope

This policy covers palletized LTL freight orders shipping from our California warehouse, including bundles of solar panels, inverters, and energy storage systems. Typical order value exceeds US$5,000.

1) Service Area

  • Origin: California, USA
  • Coverage: Contiguous 48 States (Lower 48)
  • Not Supported: Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), Puerto Rico (PR), Guam (GU) and other U.S. territories
  • Address Requirement: Deliverable street address only (no PO Boxes)

2) Freight Rate Zones (from California)

  1. Free-Shipping States (West & Nearby)

California (CA), Arizona (AZ), Nevada (NV), Oregon (OR), Washington (WA), Idaho (ID), Utah (UT), Colorado (CO), New Mexico (NM).

  1. East Coast Surcharge: +US$300

Maine (ME), New Hampshire (NH), Vermont (VT), Massachusetts (MA), Rhode Island (RI), Connecticut (CT), New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Pennsylvania (PA), Delaware (DE), Maryland (MD), Virginia (VA), West Virginia (WV), North Carolina (NC), South Carolina (SC), Georgia (GA), Florida (FL).

  1. All Other States (Case-by-Case)

All remaining contiguous states (e.g., TX, IL, MI, OH, IN, WI, MO, TN, OK, KS, NE, IA, MN, AR, LA, MS, AL, ND, SD, WY, MT) are quoted case-by-case based on pallet count, dimensions/weight, address type, and any required accessorials.

Note: The above reflects base curbside service. Remote ZIP codes, limited-access locations, and add-on services may incur additional charges (see §7). Zones/surcharges are subject to change; final rates are shown at checkout or confirmed by our team.

3) Processing & Transit Time

  • Order Processing: 2–5 business days
  • Transit Time: Typically 6–10 business days after shipment
  • Delays: Weather, network congestion, holidays, or appointment issues may extend timelines; we’ll notify you in advance

4) Delivery Method (LTL Freight)

  • Standard Service: Curbside delivery to the nearest accessible point; drivers do not perform inside delivery, unpacking, or secondary handling
  • Delivery Appointment: Often required for residential or limited-access addresses; missed appointments may incur redelivery/storage fees
  • Liftgate / Unloading:
    • Residential: Liftgate usually required
    • Commercial: Dock or forklift expected; if a commercial location needs a liftgate, please advise at order time
  • Signature: Adult signature required on the BOL/POD at delivery

5) Receiving & Inspection (Do This at Delivery)

  1. Visual Check: Confirm pallet/box count; check shrink wrap, cartons, and banding
  2. Photos: If any damage/tilt/shortage is observed, take photos while the driver is present
  3. BOL/POD Notation: Clearly note issues on the BOL/POD before signing (e.g., pallet damaged / boxes dented / wrap torn / shortage x pcs)
  4. Severe Damage: You may refuse the shipment after noting the issue(s)
  5. Concealed Damage: If discovered after delivery, email us within 72 hours with unboxing + outer-carton photos/videos so we can initiate a carrier claim

Important: If damage/shortage is not noted on the delivery receipt, carriers may treat it as clean delivery, which can limit or void claims.

6) Address Changes & Redelivery

  • After Shipment: Address changes are not available once the order has shipped
  • Missed Appointment: Redelivery and/or storage fees charged by the carrier are the consignee’s responsibility

7) Possible Accessorial Charges (Examples)

Residential delivery; Limited-Access (schools, churches, construction sites, military, convention centers, storage/industrial parks); non-standard appointment windows; liftgate at commercial locations; inside delivery; oversize/overweight; remote/island/restricted routes; redelivery, storage, detention/wait time, etc.

8) Title & Risk of Loss

  • Risk transfers upon successful delivery and consignee signature
  • We assist with carrier claims, but carrier liability limits and determinations apply and may be less than product value
  • Additional cargo insurance is available upon request before shipping
